उपनिष्क्रमणम् 1 Going out, issuing.

-2 One of the Saṁskāras or religious rites, i. e. taking out a child for the first time into the open air (which is usually performed in the fourth month of its age); cf. चतुर्थे मासि कर्तव्यं शिशोर्निष्क्रमणं गृहात् Ms.2.34.
